Flight of Dragons

Flight of Dragons is a lullaby that Crispin Mallow remembers his mother singing. Its words promise shelter between a parent’s wings until the child is strong enough to fly.

The wind will blow, the ash will fall. But you, my dear, don’t worry. For between my wings, I wrap you. All safe. Don’t worry.

In time, you’ll spread your wings. When you’re big and strong, my darling. And in time, you learn to fly, my dear. One day, to spread them.

The lyrics preserve the improvised rendition, with “In time, you’ll spread your wings” and “One day, to spread them” restored from the creator’s recollection. These restorations have not been checked against the audio.
