Steven Maidenfeld

Steven Maidenfeld is master of the Maidenfeld Spice Company’s fleet and an older brother of Robert Maidenfeld. A spellcaster of the Maidenfeld family, he has yellow eyes and a thick beard, and bears a strong resemblance to Robert.

Master of the Fleets

Steven’s responsibilities take him to sea in service of the family’s spice trade. His position connects the company’s shipping interests with the defense and supply of Maiden’s Field.

Aid to the Ranneks

Steven joined Robert and the Rannek sisters during their response to Crispin Mallow’s attacks. He had met Gwyniviere before and remembered Angel from when she was about two years old. On meeting her again, he recognized her celestial nature.

He offered magical assistance and sought contact with the companions traveling toward the keep. Their coordination had to account for the risk that teleportation would reveal the riders’ position. Steven subsequently helped lead the allies into the Baron’s guarded situation room.
