This is the living tracker for unresolved Vengeful campaign questions. Session notes still keep their own Open Hooks sections as point-in-time records of what was open at that point in play; this page tracks the current carry-forward state and can be updated when later sessions settle, narrow, or retire a hook.

Use this page for questions that need future attention, not as a planning scratchpad. Broader prep, scenario design, and speculative campaign planning can stay in threads/.

Status Key

  • Current boundary: Do not treat Malthrek survivor logistics as fully resolved until later sessions account for the missing people, parasite treatment, and morning-duty follow-up. The theories that Crispin is a cambion, ancient dragon, or Face-Stealer remain unconfirmed. Stacy’s apparent involvement is supported by her unexpected return, but her condition and degree of agency remain unresolved. The damaged found beneath the wizard’s tower remains a continuity clue for review: it points first toward Mallow’s activity there and only indirectly toward Stacy through her association with the tower. The party has not established the clue’s importance or this chain of connections.

Emily’s bargain with Oren governs when he may open it, but Aika’s role remains unresolved. Do not restrict Aika’s title as the Mother to pixies: many fey accept it, and Day Court statuary also presents her as the Mother. Its exact scope and its relationship to Baba Yaga and the False Crone remain unsettled and may require adjudication from the player who runs Emily and DMs those Feywild games.

Keep the grove and the hidden circle distinct while their relationship remains unresolved. Marcus is the Kalassarian scholar Minfilia raised as an intelligent skeleton beneath Eastonton.
