Sentimental Island

The Island is small, much smaller than Racos Palma. A small settlement was established by fishermen whose primary source of work is harvesting pearls and oysters. They sail to Sanery every Friday to sell the oysters and the pearls and to also do trades. The houses and buildings in Sentimental Island are painted, decorated with bright colors, there’s a child-like essence that radiates from every corner of the island. Blossoming flower pots hang from lamp posts and hand-painted signs decorate the businesses. Legend has it the houses are painted in this way so that when sailors came back from the fishing grounds, all they had to do was look up to find their home shining in the harbor like a beacon. Sanery is two and half days sail from Sentimental Island. The locals rely on trade through sea with Raibon Island. The island’s security relies heavily on its occupants. Shared patrols between capable men and women day and night. The private pearl and oyster farms have their own guards. People on the island are very accommodating.
