Sobriquet

House Sobriquet holds the county of Bede in the Rannek Marches.

The current Count of Bede is Nicolas Sobriquet, familiarly known as Nick Bede. Sobriquet is the family name; Bede is the name of the county. The house’s seat is not recorded here.

During the September 12 fighting, Nick’s forces arrived as reinforcements at Maidenfeld Keep but turned against its defenders. Nick seemingly acted under Mallow’s control. Once he was out of commission, his forces were demoralized or otherwise quelled. Whether his involvement was solely compelled, or whether he also concealed willing Reformist ties or other identities, remains unresolved.
