Bianca Bentayga

Bianca Bentayga is a hexblood of the Bentayga name, recorded in the Gerta Moon accounts as a student of Gerta Moon’s Boarding School and holder of the Spirit of the Seas.

Bianca came from a famous sailor line spread across Apgar. By the time she entered Gerta Moon’s care, she was an orphan whose education had been supported by distant relatives. Those relatives eventually stopped paying for her, and the school records describe plans to move her into a new orphanage once Gerta’s relocation was complete.

Bianca was known among the students as a bookish girl who believed herself well informed, asked abrupt questions, and dreamed of owning a bookstore. She wore glasses, and accounts remember her hair as braided to one side with red ribbons.

Gerta Moon’s Boarding School had begun in Sanery, but a Reformist attempt to take the girls and the magical resources guarded by Gerta Moon and Atomina Russell forced the school to leave. The attempted move to Sentimental Island ended when the students’ vessel capsized during a storm and was rescued by the Rozenmaiden. Bianca was part of the same cohort as Lime Schulze, Luana Victorique Dubreuil, Snow Skalla, Sigrid the Netweaver, Melki, and Fawn Plaisir.

After Sentimental Island was saved from undead attacks, Bianca was among the girls brought to the bog for the Parade of Spirits. She had met Adam Paulus aboard the Rozenmaiden, and the two became close during the Sentimental Island crisis, especially through the later displacement into the Feydark and Feywild. After their return from the Feywild, Adam formally adopted Bianca.
